just picked up some intrax springs off ebay (kind of a gamble since they say they fit 84-88). i want to put a set on my convertible along with someday a 17" (depending on deal. maybe 16 or 18) wheel/tire combo.

this is one of the ohio dealership cars i'm pretty sure. it flexes more than i like and i'm wondering if the reduction of sidewall flex and spring travel might stress it too much. i got a set for my '86gt too but i know lots of people lower hardtops so i'm not worried. seems like most of the convertibles that get posted are left stock. just wondering if there's something i should know or be aware of. thanks for any help.
