I saw Orges note that you have successfully repaired 87/88 headlight modules. I was wondering if it is one common problem like the relay or what? If it is the relay is this something I can find at radio shack? Just wondering since I am now the proud owner of one dead module. Thanks,

Yes, I have had some success in the past with repairs. Sometimes a bad solder joint can be found, cleaned up and resoldered. At other times repair parts are necessary, cannablism then takes place. Of the ones I have repaired are in use on my cars (at least 8) and several more out and about (4x and more) only one has failed. That was immediate upon application of power.
