hey guys, just saw some awesome pictures of a targa top on a fiero, now i must have one, question? i know that you would have to fabricate a structure for body support, does any body have plans, dimensions, or such, rather than buying a convertable kit?
question 2: i am planning on lowering the 86 with springs 1.5 inches, will this framing interfere with clearance, or is it tucked away neatly out of harms way?

any and all help will be greatly appreciated

Any time you remove the roof structure you MUST install a frame X-member or similar support. I'd be carefull around large speed bumps but otherwise there isn't any real clearance problems.

If you run a searh for "targa" or "convertible" a few threads will pop up that can give you scads of info on this. Pictures of the X-Member as well.

Fiero convertibles are sweet. One of these days I'll have to go picture taking in the garage
