Need some help figuring out what happened. Here goes, I have the Pisa tail lights in the rear of my GT and up to this point no back-up lights. So I decided to install something that would work for backing up since I lost points at a show last year for not having them. So what I did was get some of the strobe lights that are so popular now and took the passenger side back-up socket that is not in use and cut out the socket and used the wires that were there figuring the I could get my Hot and Ground for the strobe unit right there and it would already be switchable to my back ups when the car was put in reverse.. the right rear socket is tied together with the left socket in what looks like the power or green wire only. So after wiring them up they worked as planned with the parking lights on or off. Then after putting the whole assembly back together and giving it a final test by turning on the parking lights and putting it in reverse to activate the back up lights, then turning on the left turn signal some thing went wrong.. the right turn signal will work with everything on but the left won't at all now, unless the parking lights are off. If the parking lights are turned on the dash light for the left signal stays on and the front parking light doesn't work... "any Ideas", Is there a turn signal relay on there somewhere i'm missing" ?? after restoring the wiring to the way it was it still doesn't work right..So before i start ripping into this thing tommorrow is there anything I should check first?? Oh and my fuses look ok also so i'm open for suggustions..

You have a ground wire problem in the left side of the car. Check around where you were working, the reason turning the lights off and on make a differance is that the circuit is searching out a ground backwards through the bulbs.
