i have a little problem with my 84 se 2.5 when its below 40 out side and the car has sat for awhile it will not start. if i shot some starter fluid in the throttle body it will fire and run fine. i can even kill the engine and restart it but the first time in the morning or afternoon it will only turn over and not fire any ideas

Have you changed fuel filter? Put a can of water dryer in the gas tank. What oil viscosity are you using. Thick oil will make it turn over too slow in cold to start.

Not really cold enough in Okla, but I use 5w50 synthetic in my turbo car, using 5w30 in the v8 (its only got 1,000 on it) Think if your using regular oil 10w30 would be normal where your at. If you have straight 30w, thats too heavy.
