This is a ricey, ghetto, dumb question but im bored and I have 2 neon lights that go under the dash. Can I just wire these to a toggle switch on the power side of the light and get power from the fuse block or should I use a relay? How would I wire these in with a relay if that the answer? Should I do it another way? I know the CORRECT way is to throw them in the trash but like I said im bored.

all you need is a switch between the power wire. you can have the power comeing from where ever you want.

This only reason you would need a relay is if the power being sucked by the lights through the toggle switch is too great for the switch itself.

I once wired driving lights through a toggle that could not hold the power and the toggle died shortly thereafter.

hey, I have neons under the dash also, my switch is by the cig lighter, and takes the power from there, and ground also, is no too hard to do, tape everything, otherwise u'll have fuses blowing all the time..., on my page (www.myfiero.50megs.com) under the tab Interior you might be able to see where my switch is, I'll take another pic, from the front and I'll post it, or upload it
hope it helps
later
