My clutch in my 85 GT 4-speed is getting really close to the end of it's life. I was looking at the ones the Fiero Store has. Has anybody used them? Which ones, and what do you think of them? Any other suggestions and opinions are welcome. Thanks.

No experience with Fiero Store clutches, but I have used Borg Warner and NAPA clutch sets and been VERY pleased. I just looked at the prices. You can get just as good or better clutch packs for much less. The Fiero Store.....overpriced as usual. Good luck!

have used fiero store, borg-warner and napa clutches in many different applications. pretty much the same. use care when installing and check the input shaft for wear when you have it apart. a worn or spalled input shaft will make the throw/out bearing hang up and cause poor shifting and early burn-out of clutch and pressure plate. if you dont have the spring clip that holds the t/o bearing on properly, you will lose your clutch very fast. attention to detail during any clutch repair will benifit you in the long run.

I have the Centreforce 1 on my fresh hi-performance rebuild and I love it. I only paid $261 Canadian for it. Probably the best bang for buck deal around. I have launched my 4 Spd @ 4000 rpm and it hooked real nice. I will be racing the car at the local track in spring with a 200 shot of NOS and I have no doubts about the clutch.
Just my opinion and experience with my own car.
