finally, after more than a year wait, i'm putting the clutch in my 85 se. the darn thing had broken a spring in the clutch disc and took out some of the fingers on the pressure plate. all breathe a collective sigh of relief with me..
OH yeah, the question. it's a 2m4 with a 5 spit trans. is there supposed to be a pilot bushing or what? there wasn't one in there, and the clutch was the OE borg and beck unit. Anyone seen this? it's just weird for me. heh. thanks

If you're asking about a pilot bushing or bearing in the flywheel or crank, the answer is NO, at least not in '86. I'm sure someone will confirm this for '84s.

did you have problems with the clutch not fully disengaging? i'm having trouble gettings mine to disengage (4.10 4speed in my '87 GT), and i've gone through several master and slave cylinders. i've narrowed it down to either the clutch line or the clutch itself has some mechanical issues. LMK, thanks!
