I neew some side on shots of '88 Formula doors showing the decal. I've seen a few scattered across the net and need to confirm the original position of them from the factory, as the ones I've seen seem to move fore & aft a few inches (?!).

If you bought your car new and know it hasn't been smacked and repainted please let me know too - thanks.

I've just had one of these delivered to me for some minor body work and paint and just want to make sure I get everything back in it's proper place - it's a quite low mileage (~70K mile) 100% dead stock example that's going to get collectors plates put on it. So it's gotta be "just right".

The previous owner was really meticulous it looks like. He even kept everything under the front hood polished! Only thing that sucks is that it's an auto.

I don't have a camera, but on the formula door skin sitting here next to me has the "A" about under the middle of where the handle should be, I'd estimate 2-3 inches up from the bottom of the door.

They have the FORMULA stickers here www.fierosails.com/decal.html and they are cut for correct horizontal placement.

Here is a quote from the page.

Formula" door decal, $20 including shipping in the U.S. Colors are typically silver, dark gray metallic (the original factory color), or black, but available in just about any choice. This decal is about 2" high and 24" wide, just like the original. It comes with the backing material beveled on both ends for alignment purposes. Align the bevel with the bottom rear edge of the door and the decal is properly placed horizontally.

Thanks, but availability isn't the issue - just the exact positioning of them on the door. I've already got the new ones on route to me as we speak... errr... type.
