I'll admit, I'm a n00b to all of this. I'm used to working on my 300 cubic inch Ford inline 6.

Well my in-laws have promised me the old 1985 2M4 notchback they have on their front yard and I was wondering what were some of the best performance parts for the 2M4. I'm looking for anything, turbos, superchargers, blowers, heads, intakes, the works.

Thanks.

Well, You can get a cam, and a rebuild.. There is a guy selling a turbo kit in the mall. But Im afraid thats about it. You can go all wild, Look up Big Bad Duke in the search, I think thats the title of the 200hp duke. But Im not sure.. I thought about building one til I figured out for less I could have more with a 4.9 swap. Good luck.

I didn't find that, but I found something better, the Super Duty 4 and the name and address of the current holders of the manufacturing rights to it, Kansas Racing Products, they offer a completely custom SD4, from different bellhousing and oil pan options to a multitude of intake choices and custom stroke and bore selections, up to 203 cubic inchs, but I'm sticking with the 4.125"x3.500" option.

The Fiero will just be the test bed for the engine, it has a greater purpose, in another, lighter, mid-engine, RWD car.
