There are so many sounds in our cars but I like to stop that clicking sound you get when you hit the turn signal light. The blinking light is enough for me, I don't need the sound when I at a stoplight waiting to make a turn.

Any Ideas??

Thanks

Uh... not too sure if this helps but the clicking sound is the actual connection letting go and connecting. Its like in relays, they always make noise as u apply voltage to complete some circut. There might be a way around it... but not too positive.

Yes it is the flasher relay but the newer models cars don't have that sound and I would like to know if we could adapt a new relay to our old cars. I've heard of those real fast turning signals on fieros and I can imagine that they use the same relay.

There are lots that make less noise. The reason yours prob makes so much noise is because it's in it's proper place......lol.
It's in a lil clamp on the underside of the dash or steering column. Follow the noise.
Take it out of the clamp and see if it doesn't make less noise. You could always wrap it with insulation. Good luck!

You could always remote-mount the flasher in the front trunk! all it'd take is a couple pieces of wire, some spade lugs, and a drill.
