I've kept a large list of hints and tips I thought might be useful to me one day. Unfortunately, I haven't kept information about brake upgrades. New Blue (87 coupe) has siezed fronts as mentioned in this space recently, along with Beretta upgrade rears. This, saved in my file, appeared some time ago. I didn't see answers to it, so I'm putting it out again (note that I am not the original poster):

I am told that rear calipers from a 4wheel disc Ford Thunderbird are a
direct bolt in AND keeps the e-brake while still using the Baretta rear
rotors. Has anyone done this? Any additional info on the swap?
Thanks

I'm also interested to know of simple upgrades to the front, in the event I have to do something more than rebuild or hose swaps, please (likewise, not in my info database, other than for 88s...)

"Believe me, my young friend, there is *nothing*-absolutely nothing-half so much worth doing as simply messing, messing-about-in-boats; messing about in boats-or *with* boats.
In or out of 'em, it doesn't matter. Nothing seems really to matter, that's the charm of it.
Whether you get away, or whether you don't; whether you arrive at your destination or whether you reach somewhere else, or whether you never get anywhere at all, you're always busy, and you never do anything in particular; and when you've done it there's always something else to do, and you can do it if you like, but you'd much better not."
