well i finally got my 4.10 working correctly the other day....now, it doesn't like to go into any of the gears again. i just checked the clutch slave cylinder and its moving from 1 1/16" to 1 1/8", so that obviously isn't the problem, its either a problem with the pressure plate "fingers" or the TO bearing fork....any other ideas, or info on fixing the TO fork? thanks

God, how could you read all those replys?????
Don't ya just love it. Anyway, did you check to see if the arm is cracked down on the trans where it fastens onto the shaft? Next, with the slave rod removed, how far does the arm move from the fully released position to where it contacts the pressure plate? I had a hell of a time with Jen's (fierochic88)86 4 cyl cp releasing until I pulled it and found that the pressure place springs needed to stick out 1/4" further. They listed the pressure plate as the correct part but in fact, it was not the correct part. What a time I had figuring that one out. Lay the two parts side by side and you had to get real picky to find it. I'm curious what you find. Do you have the cast arm going to the shaft?
