I'm Looking to get a set of 16 inch GM , pontiac wheels. Intrested in which ones you guys have tried. I like the grand am GT wheels. now I have 15 inch 3 stars w/ low profile tires. But to have low profile tires you need at least a 16 inch wheel.
Any Pics would be great!!!

I don't have a pic, but the wheels from a Beretta GTZ (wide 5 spoke) or Z26 (these have a Z pattern). Both are 16" rims and look great, IMO.

I like the 16" multi spoke wheels on the 99 on Grand Am. They came with low profile tires just like the GT.

These are from a 2003 Pontiac VIBE. They are actually Toyota wheels (VIBE is a re-badged Toyata) and require some machining work to fit the GM hub. The center hole needs to be bored out from 54.1mm to 57.1 mm. I had a local machine shop do the work. The only reason I gave these wheels a try was that I got a heck of a deal on them at a local Belle-Tire who had swapped wheels on several Vibe's from a local dealership.

I had a set of these on my 86GT and they looked WONDERFUL! If you use them directly off of a Toyota you will have to machine them slightly or it can be done with a dremel tool quite easily......to the center so that it will fit. It's just a few mm's too small, but will work great!

Sweet wheels turbotoad. You gotlucky.. There aren't many Vibe wheels in the boneyards yet and I'll bet Pontiac wants at least 500.00 a piece for those at their dealerships.

Very nice..

I went on a tour of a Toyota Aluminum Wheel manufacturer here in BC. It was absolutely fascinating but what I really wanted to do was grab about 4 of those hot off the presses aluminum rims. Do you think I had ANY luck convincing 3 of my classmates to put a rim down their pants?

WOW, I have a VIBE GT and i was woundering what it would look like with the wheels on, i new that they didn't fit without some machining so i never tryed it. ONce you cut them, they will not go back on the Vibe so i have not done it. Thanks for the look. I may do it now. BTW. I also have the beretta GTZ wheels on my car now
