I'm looking at main spark advance table in the '88 Fiero PROM using a sample version of GMEPro that Terry sent me a couple years ago.

This table ends at 4800 RPM. What happens beyond this? Does the ECM simply use the 4800 RPM values for whatever MAP value it reads?

Thanks,

In the Fiero V6 it uses the last value (right column). In other ECM's there might be an extender value that adds X degrees for each 1000 RPM above some point. The 91-93 DOHC is like that but it's not enabled. I enabled it on Phil's. Certainly no seat of the pants change.

It's been awhile since I looked at the spark for the V6 but I'd recall an extender.

It's not as if it will make much difference on the L44 engine to have the table go to 6000+.

What version do you have? I'm up to V1.77 on the main program and 2.01 on the EPE file.

Terry
