What do most of you use in the V6, 87 or 89 Octane.
And can you tell any difference between the two?

The car when set up to manufacturer's specifications calls for 87 octane. When you start doing engine modifications or timing modifications you may need higher octane fuel to stop the pinging. The difference between 87 and 89 octane is about 7 cents a gallon.

Read the fuel article in the engine section in my cave.

if you are running w/o knocking on 87, running higher octain is just a waste.
