I was wondering what the biggest tire I could fit on the back of my 88 Formula. I was thinking about doing 265/35 or 40 on the rear and maybe 225/40/17 or 18 on the front or possibly 215/40/17 or 18. What would be the biggest rear tire I could fit on the back of my Fiero it has Ryane coilover shocks all the way around and I was just kind of curious. Thanks!

I have:
265/35/18 rear on 18x8.5"-38mm
225/40/18 front on 18x7.5"-45mm

The car's balance is great, I am VERY happy with this setup! (this fit when I had stock susp, NO coilovers!)

With coilovers, I'm sure 18x9" would not pose any problems, you could run 275/40/18 if you wanted.

Read my post in the other tire thread, about that lower link in the 88s. That's what prevents us from running 18x12"s and 335s
