"Hi guys. Got a question that most will see as odd. I have a different theory in mind. If we could put aside all structure problems with the stock Duke, I'd like to ask some opinions for a quite neat idea. Anyone ever thought of making a Dual TBI setup for the Duke? I'm talking like making a custom manifold and using maybe TB's from a turbo Sprint (Which was a 1.3L engine, so two would equal out to 2.6L which we all know is close the the Duke engine.) or something. I may possibly look at turbo'ing this too. Just wondered what kind of suggestions I could get..Electronics isn't too much of a problem being that my friend Gearjammer1980 is very good in that area..I am very aware that the Duke would need major improvements like better rods, better block, etc...Maybe opt for a Super Duty 4 and go from there...Any ideas, suggestions, comments?? Thanks for the time....."

P.S. Yes I know it would be eaiser to just drop in a V-6/V-8 and cost about the same amount of ca$h, but in no way would it be as creative.

It may be easier to switch to a port fuel injection set up. I saw a site on the web that gave instructions on building intakes. You would need to switch to a stand alone engine management system but you could probably use the stock intack and add four injectors to it. check this web site www.sdsefi.com/tech.html and go to the section on intake and EFI.

The easiest way to get more air into the 2.5L is to upgrade to the larger Holley throttle body injector. It's a bolt in fit on most Duke manifolds and requires just slight mods on some others.

Unless you do major mods to compression, heads, camshaft, timing and about every other aspect of the duke, you don't need any more fuel. A dual TB setup would just flood it out as would a dual injector setup as stated above. Sorry.

absolutly right!but you can run a second tb without injector and increase the fuel pressure a little to copensate for the extra air-unless you port the whole inlet and exhaust tract, there won´t be a big improvement.
