Anyone know the correct engine paint color (For the plenum and valve covers) and where to get the paint? I want to redo the valve covers and not the plenum (The plenum looks good) but I can't seem to find a matching paint....
Forgive me, I didn't search first...

The closest I found is a Ford/Chrysler red from the eastwood company. Some people say that it is too orange, but I think it was very close. It also is a high temp paint. Try them at www.eastwoodcompany.com

The plenum and valve covers came from the factory powdercoated. When it starts to go you will notice that there is no primer coat underneath it, and it's tendency to flake off is typical of powdercoating that's been subjected to a lot of heat cycling.
Any powdercoating shop that has several color catalogs could match it near perfectly. But if you go this route, when you're looking at the color chips, compare them to a clean part in the direct sunlight. The sun is the true lightsource that will reveal if the colors are a match.

Not being a "fuddy duddy", but there's a picture in THAT thread of Fiero intake and valve covers painted with Chrysler Industrial Red. I should know, that's a photo of my engine pieces. Geez, I gave you a link with an answer to your question.
