hooked up a T-3 to a 2 liter DOHC Quad 4 with bone stock everything else-internals, fuel system-.. and a dynotuner.net Power Tuner.. when it started running STOOPID lean and made 171hp at the ground on 8psi... well still not having enough fuel from the stock injectors and 8psi it's making 201hp at the ground... better injectors and more boost to come in the next week or so... (pics to come tomorrow afternoon along with dyno sheets)
For more info www.engineered.net they build it. and Ed tuned it. (it's not a Q4 fiero) but would work well and fit in a fiero nicely.

After I do some more work on my turbo this winter, it's going to need to be "tuned"
I've got the same question, as I'll need some tuning done in about two months on a custom intake on the 3.4 with my dynotuner. I know that usually dyno time costs per hour, so I would assume the same for somebody helping to tune.

Isn't a Q4's compression somewhere in the neighborhood of 10.?:1 ? allittle steep to run so much boost... That engines going to blow a head gasket. But nonetheless I hope the thing is an untamed beast.

the low output quad is 150HP on the 2.3L and its got 9.3:1 compression pistons (give or take, could be 9.5:1 or 9.0:1) this can hold a 6psi boost just fine, remember thats 150HP at the crank, so your looking at 120 or so HP at the wheels, and the HI output was 180HP with 10:1 compression pistons, it was 180Hp at the crank, and could reliably hold a 4PSI boost, but 93 octane is a must. 200Hp at the wheels is very impressive on a quad.

well this is what i have.. but was informed after i left the boost pressure problems were aleviated and she makes 226hp and 241lbft at the ground..
see how the turbo wasn't holding boost.. it'd spike at 11psi and die off.. well NOW with the -CORRECT- vacuum actuator it'll hold 10-12psi from 3200 to 6200rpm
what a deal... $4000 for intercooled with engine management and a hell-of-a-good-time!
the engine this was put one.. a 95 Grand am Q4, 5spd, 136,000 miles. -white, on grey.. hehe.. if you wew wondering... oh yeah and white 18s
------------------ YES.. for the Last time.. 18s will fit on your Fiero.. SEE...

oh and for dyno tuning.. $150 per hour... no it doesnt' include lunch or for him to shower you. but i'm sure if there were a few of you together I could work out somthing with him and Engineered or Balanced.. for dyno time and his tuning prowess. Club days are a blast and keeps everyone honest..

Yep, I bought the car almost as-is from Paul. But the quad swap is just as difficult as any other.
I think the biggest pita's are wiring and the engine mounts. Also have to fab up a passenger side coolant line. If you're swapping into a 4cyl the fuel lines should bolt up, and the drivers side coolant hose should bolt up too.
