I have a brand spanking new Momo Corse steering wheel that I'm hoping to install soon, but I don't seem to have the proper size bolts to use with my puller. I know they're metric and they appear to be fine threaded. I'd appreciate someone posting the actual size, so I can stop at the hardware store on the way home from work. Thanks.

It's either 20mm or 21mm. My money without looking is on 20mm.

Todd, I don't mean the wrench size of the nut, I'm talking about the two bolts needed to screw in for the steering wheel puller.

Since nobody responded before I went home, I stopped and bought a couple 6mm and a couple 8mm bolts. Of course the size I need is in between (obviously 7mm). Figures.

Actually, it may depend what wheel you are pulling. Allot of factory steering wheels, even in otherwise metric cars, pull with SAE bolts not metric.

My Lisle #45000 puller set doesn't even come with any metric bolts. 1 set of 3/8 and two sets 5/16 in different threads. I think my wheel uses the 3/8-16 bolts. (4 spoke w/ paddel buttons for horn.)

Thanks Ogre and Partfiero. It was standard 5/16" bolt. I could of swore I checked all the bolts in my puller kit. After I read you guy's posts, I went out and double checked. I had the right bolts in my kit after all. Sheesh, I feel stupid now. Anyway, the old steering wheel is off now. I'll mount the new one tomorrow.
