OBD2... Amost all cars built since 95-96 have it. Ask the Volvo service guys to explain it.
It means you need ALL the crap that came in a manual transmission Saturn. Which also means you need the wiring and either the whole PCM or the Software to reprogram the PCM you have. The car will not run right without a complete reprogram of the PCM.
To make this worse.... Many OBD2 modules besides the PCM are interconnected and you may have to deal with other issues as well. GM Airbag controllers (SDMs), ABS controllers, and BCM (Body Controller Modules) are tied to the OBD2 network with the PCM.
The car WILL NOT opperate properly if at all unless all modules are properly configured with the right software and in many cases the vehicle's VIN number is programed into each module. If the VIN numbers in various modules don't match then the car may not even start.
