I guess when you can see oil resting in the ribs, it's a pretty good indication that you've got a leaky tube :

Go to the boneyard and get one from a 2.8/3.1/3.4 Firebird or Camaro. You will need to elongate the holes on one end to make it fit, but that's it. I got mine from a Firebird 2 years ago for $1.00
