V6 oil pan if that makes a difference.

Tighten one of the middle ones first. Tighten it until it breaks off or until the gasket totally squirts out from between the engine and block. Subtract about 10 ft lbs from that number and you should have a good number.

Seriously, 10 ft lbs should be just fine on a stamped steel pan. Just make darned sure the gasket surface is flat & that the gasket doesn't move.

Tighten the pan bolts between 8 to 10 ft.pounds. But, make sure you come back after awhile and re-check them again. The gasket will compress abit and you will have to re-tigthen. Use a torq wrench and don't over tighten.
