My brother is getting his 944 ready for a Lt1 conversion, and I am looking for "the right Fiero" to drop a LT1 into. (Using Archie's kit of course.) Anyway my brother plans on using a 968 6 speed tranny, and it got me wondering... has any one put a six speed in a v8 Fiero? I thought I read something once about a 911 tranny being used...Could be wrong though....Any info would be appreciated.

I don't believe this would be possible without MAJOR modification. I would suggest against it. Put a getrag 5spd in it.
