I replaced my e-brake cable, I went to adjust it, when it is disengaged (loose to a point where I can disconect it in the middle) the brakes are locked. When i have the car in neutral and i push it, i hear the brakes sqeaking and stops the car but the e-brake cable is still loose... when i pull the e-brake lever, it tightens the cable. What should I do, i dont know anything about brakes, what should i check?
If it matters, I only replaced the 2 side cables because the main one works.
PS. does anybody have a pic of the horn area, and how to get to it.
-Thanks

See if the both E-brake levers (on the back of each rear caliper) are in the fully-released position, against their stops on the calipers. If not, might try rotating the lever(s) in the "released" direction, using a pair of pliers. Don't force it, though.

I have seen those levers stick sometimes, to where the E-brake return spring can't rotate the lever back to its fully-released position.
