It's not factory,

but I got mine from Summit. Got the Thermotec brand stuff... silver on both sides, with a yellow insulation in the middle. So far, so good~

Is this stuff needed? Just asking, because I just ripped ALL (well nearly all anyhow) of mine out since the engine is out right now. I'll have it up and running again in about a week. It looks much better now. I'm not concerned with the sound really...

I ripped all mine out except for on the firewall. Its a much cleaner engine bay, and I don't notice much more road noise at all...
