Put together the A/C syetm after the 3.4 conversion. New relay (behind the air cleaner), new compresser & orifice valve, new hoses and new accumulator. Just replaced the recycling switch on the accumulator. Jumpered the compresser to the battery and it works but to power is coming to the compresser. Power is OK from the lite green and orange leads on the A/C COntrol head in the passenger compartment. Jumpered across the recycling switch on the accumulator and the compresser still won't come on. The Haynes maunal says there is also a Hi pressure switch and a low pressure switch. Where are these so I can replace them. What else is left ?

Did you draw a vacuum on the system too? This is a must to remove air and moisture. The high press switch is either inline or in the back of the compressor.

Yep - vacuum was drawn. We've narrowed the problem down to no power to the compresser. The plug going onto the back of the compresser has no power coming from it, but the compresser is OK - we ran wires to it directly from the batteryu and it ran. The relay (behind the air cleaner is new). Any idea what the heck could be preventing power to the compresser plug ?
