What is the best way to mount the front 4x10's so that they are pretty secure? Those darned little plastic peices that the screws go into don't stay in after I hit a few bumps and then the speakers vibrate bad.

I was thinking maybe a small bolt with a washer and putting it in from the bottom and then using a slim nut to tighten it down and then putting the speaker on and then using more nuts to tighten the speaker down. Too complex??

I'm just looking for some suggestions, thanks.

I'd go down to the hardware store and get the next size bigger sheet metal screw, maybe a little shorter and they should work great.

Might try epoxying in those little plastic thingys. Mine have held for seven years, now.
