I was trying to adjust my timing, and i was tuning over the engine but i didn't realize that my connecter was still grounded in the consol, and all of a sudden the car wouldn't tun on anymore, all that happenes is the fuel pump running for a second. So when i noticed the ground, i removed the paperclip and tried to start the engine again, when i had the key on "on" (right before you turn over the car) the relay that is closest to the air filter was making a loud constant clicking noise, and as well for my car no longer turning over the trunk switch wont pop the trunk, but i still hear the clicking of the relay under the dash. So i assume i have to replace that relay, any other suggestions? Also, when i had the car running the idle was a little unstable, code 35 came up (Idle air control) and as soon as i put it into gear it stalled, any comments to my situation?

I sure hope you didn't harm the ecm. I would start by replacing the relay that clicks. That relay is behind the air cleaner box is for the fuel pump. Also replace the relay for the trunk switch. Lets just hope that this is the least of your problems. The IAC would cause your car to idle bad. After you replace these items disconnect your battery to reset the ECM. Good luck!

i put the relay back and the trunk works fine now and the relay no longer clicks
so the only problem left is that my car wont turn over.
I think i broke the starter, is that a big job to replace it?

hmmm...so your car doesn't even crank over. Put a test light or voltmeter on the small wire on the selonoid to see if you have 12 volts. Or you can take a screwdriver (or remote starter switch) put the screwdriver between the big terminal and small one on the back back of the selonoid to see if the starter cranks over. you may have a bad selonoid. Let me know!

when i had someone turn the key, i couldn't hear any clicking from the solinoid(sp?) the only clicking was from the fuel pump relay. I think i heard a really faint and short grinding sound, i could be wrong though.

The solenoid should click. Like I said, check the power to the small wire (while cranking)on the starter to see if you have 12v. If you do then you have a solenoid/starter problem.
