I doubt it and you don't wanna do one either. The 87 and early 88 3.8 engine code 3 engines only had 150 HP and were not very good engines. Bad problems with timing gears and oil pumps/cranks if not properly cared for.

I put an '87 3.8 in an '86 GT with Muncie 4 speed a few years ago. It was actually pretty impressive. I was happy with it, and I almost doubled my money when I sold the car. It was a free engine, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with it. There was also one featured in Fiero Owner Mag several years ago, the guy had it built up quite a bit. If you plan on doing only one swap, and you want it to be the best it can be, find a newer engine. The ~90+ engines are easy to find and not too expensive.

heh, im getting the engine for free too, thats one of the reasons why im doing it. Im goning to tear down the 3.8, check everything and replace the gaskets. The engine runs real good right now in the bonneville and has about 80,000 miles on it compared to my 2.8 that has 143,000.
