Okay, im going to change the fluid in the trans, and i have the synchromesh fluid, but (and this really shows how stupid i am) how do you drain the isuzu transmission? i feel really dumb asking this question, but it has to be done.

Look on the bottom left side of the tranny. You will see a huge bolt looking thingy. That's the drain. It's kinda hidden behind the cradle.

There is a drain plug at the bottom. Look and you'll see it. Let it drain for a while as in an hour or so.
When your ready to refill the transmission, (done through the VSS sensor hole) use extreme care when removing the VSS sensor. Clean the area surrounding the sensor and remove the retaining bolt and lock bar. Un plug sensor and gently loosen it by slowly turning and rocking it slightly to be sure the 'O' ring is loose and lift is straight up. Make sure you lift it up in a straight line or you may loose the sensor gear which isn't much fun as some here can relate to.
