Here's a picture of the tach filter. It has a plug with two white wires. Disconnect(unplug) the tach filter from this plug and plug in the two new leads into plug. The third lead is a ground. You could cut the leads on your old one and solder the new ones to those or crimp them on with butt connectors. If you're not sure of the connections give Rodney Dickman a call. If you bought it from him, I'm sure he will help you out.

The tack filter is next to the distributor on V-6. To get it off you will have to remove the ignition coil. ( it just has two bolts no big deal) DO NOT cut any wires. The take filter from Rodney came with intructions on how to connect it. The Blue pin goes as the top of the tee and the pink is th base, the ring or black grounds back where you undone the original. reinstall the ignition and your done. It takes all of 5 min.
