I just bought wcf headers. I am rebuilding the motor so I have not started the car with them yet. The wcf headers also come with a y pipe that looks like it is really going to make a difference as well. They are not ceramic coated but I found some coating that you apply for $20 from www.techlinecoatings.com. I will let you know hopefully I will be starting the car this week.

headers. I tried ported manifolds.. seems worthless

Ported stock and Sprints do about the same. The only difference is the Sprints won't crack like the stock ones. The flow of the Sprints is better than stock but not by much. WCF headers are better, But the Full set will cause a low end torque loss on a stock 2.8L. If you plan on doing things to the engine the WCF headers would be the way to go.

For a nearly stock motor the ported manifolds or the sprint manifolds are better. You'll gain 8 horsepower from either one.
