my cars having problems with acceleration. it bogs down between 2000 and 3500 rpms. i was wondering how i pull codes from the computer and what they mean. i know how to jumper the computer out of the loop but i dont know what the flashes mean.

when i grounded the diagnostics it just kept flashing the service engine soon light really fast. then after about 30 seconds to a minute of that it flashed it slow for over 3 minutes till i finally disconected the ground

when u take the cig lighter cover off, on the pass. side is a little black box with therminals inside, i think is the 2 on the bottom (pass side) that u have to touch with a clip or a piece of wire, and then watch the engine light

Make sure you aren't doing it with the car running..

Have the car off.. Short the terminals then turn the key the on. But don't start the car.
