Possible trunk fire prob by Thweny

Since i got my car theres been a burnt hole in the trunk carpeting. I didnt know what it was from, but today i went to get a plastic case from the trunk and it was melted. So theres a spot on the center of the turnk wall, engine side, that is getting very hot. Any one know why? Luckly the fix a flat was no where near it.

Yeah, that would be signs of an exhaust leak. The trunk usually stays amazingly cool for it's location. You need to get this fixed before something back there gets hot enough to light off.
