Is the Earls stainless steel brake line kit a universal deal? Direct fit? Any other feedback?

Thanks

From what I have heard people have been happy with them. They are a custom made set that should directly replace the rubber ones.

After having 2 hoses collapse on one GT, I'm going to put these on the turbo. Regular rubber hoses are $25 a pop so a set of these is the same.

Stainless hoses also made by Goodridge Performance Parts (310) 533 1924. AS with Earl's they are a direct replacement.

I think they're actually made of small diameter PTFE tubing with a stainless braided sheath. I recently installed a set I bought from the Fiero Store. Yes they installed easy and I like them.

Can't give you an honest answer on that. I expected it to be firmer. My master cyl.was bad so I changed the MC, 4 new rotors, the hoses and went to GreenStuff pads all at one time. Therefore, I have no "one-change/baseline" type comparison.
My opinion is that it is firmer. The PTFE tubing is stiffer than the rubber hose.
