The back side panels come out pretty easy after you remove the torx bolts that hold the seat belts in place, the long screw, and the panel retainer (similar to the ones from the door panels). The windshield pillar panel, on the other hand, has 2 molding clips (along the windshield side) that break easily. Even if you are careful, you'll still break them by looking at them wrong... The Fiero Store sells replacements (PN 82090 - $1.49 each). Assuming you get the molding clips out, there are also 2 tabs along the top of the panel that just slide out. My suggestion (seriously) would be to go to a junk yard and practice on a junker before you break your car. After you see how they go together one time, it's a lot easier to get your panels out without breaking them. Once the panels are out (along with the lights, brake light housing, hangers), the headliner can be removed. Then it's finding all of the nuts that hold the panel in place (don't miss the small one in the front left corner...). Cut the goo, and pull the panel. May sound easy, but don't get in a hurry. Take your time and good luck.

Yeah, whoever the idiot was that was assembling the windshield pillar trim at the factory was putting the steel clips at the top on backwards, which prevents that trim section from sliding out toward the back of the car.
