I hawe a litle vibrate in the stering wheel when driving 45 mph or faster.
Its not the brake disc and its not the wheels.
Can it be the shock absorber on the steering colon?

Have you had your wheels balanced? check your tire pressure and wheel bearings also.

Does the wheel wiggle a bit with the car stopped? There are some bolts inside which may get loose.

The little shock on the front should not affect it. You can remove it to make sure. It is there to soften the feel of rough roads and is not needed.

If the steering column seems loose we can help with that.

Does it always do this or are certain roads worse than others? If you aren't sure drive around and test it. The road surface itself can cause this.

Any uneven wear on the tire tread can do it. The second set of tires may not be much better than the first. Unless you know what to look for, some kinds of wear are hard to see.

Any worn bushing, ball joint, or other suspension component can cause it.

A loose steering column is definitely a problem and needs to be fixed ASAP.

I had exactly this problem - I took the car to 7 different shops one day (took the day off to fix it finally after a year). Main symptoms, I could accelerate and the problem would come in (especially going slightly uphill) at about 25mph, 45mph etc, and if I let off the gas even a little bit, the vibration would go away. After tire balancing, wheel balancing, tire AND wheel balancing, I even took it to Pontiac and they charged me $35 to tell me my WHEELS were OUT OF ROUND! Les Schwab (tire reseller here) finally solved it - it was the CV joint on the long axle shaft. They replaced the shaft (and CV joint obviously) and the problem went away and hasn't returned. I tell you, at 65mph it was a REAL hand massage all right!

All fieros soon fall to this. On my current GT I have replaced lower ball joint (pain in ass) also replaced tie rod and inner bearing. Shaking the wheel camber there is no play but shaking the toe in and out I still get minumum 1/8" play on driverside. This leads me to believe its bushings or upper ball joint. I will soon have a completely new driverside because of this. Its alot better but I need it perfect.
As stated above I will probably have the front tires balanced this weekend to see if it helps-Good Luck
