Is this alternator hard to change out? Some one told me you have to disconnect a tie rod end or something? I have the engine out and am thinking of changing it now unless it is not hard to change normally.

Remove the top alternator mount, and it will pull up through the top.

On the 2.5 it will come out without removing anything, just snake it under the intake and between the hoses and you will be OK.
