My car came stock with cruise, but I have run FACTORY GM Cruise control assemblies on GM cars that did not originally come with them. My opinion? Go find a GM vehicle, grab the cruise computer, the wiper stalk with cruise buttons, and the servo assembly. Get ALL of the wiring you can, and if you DO have to cut the wiring, be sure to get as long a pigtail as you can...
As for the Audiovox cruise, I have installed them. Once you get the hang of it, they can be done in under 2 hours. But, if it is your first time, give yourself a good 6 hours.
