Howdy!
What da heck is supposed to be hooked up to these two plastic thingies? It looks like rubber hoses should be hooked up here.

Or, are they just air vents?

The part referred to is the cruise control purge solenoid. The only thing that should be there is a foam filter to keep dirt out. The clip holds the foam filter in place. I cut a replacement out of the foam used for shipping hard drives.

THANKS! There currently is a tiny piece of foam on the end - I'll use the HDD foam, lord knows, I have enough of the stuff! Thanks again!
