I was working on my buick the other day and i went to open the hoop and the hoop release pully thing broke
do you guys know anyother way to open my hood

sorry this isnt a fiero

hmmmm well let me see Dr.D i believe that would be HOOD hahah
but we already tried that i was the one with the plyers it didnt work

any ideas?

If there is cable exposed and pulling on it does not release the hood, then you will have to ge a long thin screw driver to pop the latch between the hood and grille.

how hard is it to open it with the screw driver and tips or tricks to it

I guess you got your doctorate degree in something other that English composition. J/K.

About your problem. Try to expose the inner wire part of the release cable inside the car and pull on it with vise grips or channel locks. That may release the hood. Just my 2cents.
