Is it possible to remove the REAR rocker without disassembling the entire upper end? If so, a procedure would be great.

Thx.

Move the dogbone bracket out of the way (involves removing some of the alt bracket bolts). Then remove the coil, heat shields, and the engine lift bracket. Use an 8 mm socket on a swivel joint, and you can get to all the bolts (even the two under the intake runners) fairly easily. Then just carefully guide the rocker cover towards the rear, while lifting it. Be patient, it beats removing the intake manifold.

The front rocker cover is almost as easy; you only have to move the forward engine lift bracket and dipstick tube bracket, and the decklid (real simple). And the pcv/breather tubes go in each cover, also.
