What wires did you unplug? Most of them will only go back into the correct spot. The vacume tubes are all makes on the decklid sticker. Spark plug wires are pretty easy also.

Uh.... most connectors only fit one way and in the correct locations... GM and all other car makers do that to reduce assembly problems at the factory.
