I am getting a 3.4 from a friends automatic fiero gt. Mine is a five speed. What flywheel do I need/ I have some parts #'s from gmdirect but I don't know which one is correct. 10118669, 10162025 which I believe is the right one, and 10162024. Does any body know?

10162024 is the one you want. It is not balenced and is the cheapest. Someone correct me if i'm wrong...I know this one works for my 3.4 TDC/DOHC swap.

Dont i need a neutrally balenced flywheel? Ed parks said a flywheel off of a dohc 3.4 would work. IS that what that one is off of? 10162024 Thanks

Well see you have a problem, some 87 fiero's have internally balenced flywheels some dont, if yours is a early 87 or late 86 on the date made its probably not going to be internally ballenced if yours is late 87 or mid 87 it probably is, best way to find out is when you pull out your engine, check and see if a weight is welded to it, if it is, then you need to get a flywheel without the weight or remove the weight thats on it, Go to the nearest gm dealer near you and order a flywheel for a 1993-1995 camaro 3.4L it is for the internally balenced engine, or if yours is a dual overhead cam 3.4 then get a flywheel for a 1991-1994 lumina z34 5 speed

im pretty sure im right, correct me if im wrong anyone, but i do know the 3.4's are internally balanced so make sure you get the flywheel thats right.

As far as I know, the Camaro 3.4L flywheel won't work in a Fiero 3.4OHV swap. You can only use either an 88 Fiero V6 flywheel or a 3.4TDC flywheel.
