2 keys, one for the ignition (black plastic on the handle). All metal key for the door and trunk. At least thats what I got when I bought the car in 1987.

Door and trunk on all years of Fiero should be a "B" keyway (little "B" stamped on the key) and the ignition should be an "A" keyway. If you get desperate, you should be able to pull the lock out of the door fairly easy and have a locksmith make a new key for it. There's probably a code stamped on the side of the lock...

There is no code stamped on the lock.....they stopped that 30 years ago. Pull the trunk cyl.....much easier to get to and will accomplish the same thing. And if the fiero had the same key blanks for all years it was the only car that did that in GM. Most of them changed every year. Like C and D for 87 for instance.

Rhanks guys ... I got 2 keys with my car but my door locks never worked... I don't know if there stuck from not being used or what... My trunk key/engine cover key is round and my ignition key is square..
So your telling me my trunk key should fit my doors?
Thx

the round key should fit the trunk and doors unless one has been changed somewhere along the line.

*2 keys. ¨€¨T¦Ð¦Ð I'd take the trunk lock out and key it to match the doors.(Give them the door key to use)
I'm trying to get myself out the door to change a broken drivers door lock today. Where IS that motivation? The lock will fit better in the door instead of on my seat!

I know - I thought the same. Only thing I could come up with was that since the Fiero was a fairly small run they didn't change the keyway? It's the only way I can explain my three being the same...
