I own an 88 4cyl. coupe aut. which i am considering turning it into a 5 sp. manual, If i go with the isuzu tranny could someone tell me from which isuzu model i need the tranny and what else will i need, how difficult is this going to be, could any year of 4 or 6 cyl. fiero be use for this swap?

From what I know its fairly simple..I swaped a 4 speed tranny from a v6 onto my 4cylinder 4 speed...for u it will be a bit more difficult but not allt hat much...
List of parts:
-5speed tranny from any year.
-shift cable
-select cable
-standard shifter with complete assembly to mount it
-clutch slave cylinder
-clutch pedal assembly
-clutch master cylinder
-clutch fluid lines
-computer for a 4cly 5speed any yr

thats all I can think of so far..so what u'll have to do is take apart your interior and put those cables in and your shifter.
then in front with master and install lines all the way down and clutch slave and put the new computer...I might be leaving a couple things out but this should start u on your way.
