A fellow UK owner took his 88GT Fiero to a garage back in 1999 to have a new clutch installed. Some time later he received SOME of his engine/gearbox back in individual nut/bolt form! Many of the ancillaries, connections etc were also missing.
The car is now back to near complete form. The owner is asking for another 88GT to compare his with to make sure everything is where it should be.
Here is the problem....I reckon that 88GT's over here are as rare as rocking horse dung
. It would be much easier to find someone with an 87GT to use as a comparison but what are the differences between the 88 vs 86-87 (interested in connections/layout etc of engine bay/gearbox)?
I hope you can help and we can get another Fiero back on its wheels!
