I just received my sail panel Pontiac Arrowhead emblems. Any advice on the best type of adhesive to attach them would be apprecaited. I do not want them coming off the first time I wash the car.

I'm curious to know where you got NEW arrowhead emblems from. Is this something the dealers still carry or did you find someone with some NOS parts? Mine are OK but maybe a little faded. Nice new ones would enhance the excellent glass sails going on my SE.

I've used epoxy on the emblems with absolutely no problems. The oldest of the replacements has been in about 5 years, and is still solidly on the car.
The sail emblems can be had from a couple sources I believe... I do not know whether the dealers still have them or not. I believe that both Rodney Dickman and Fiero Store carry new emblems. They definatelty look better than having the faded originals... or worse the spot where the original fell out of.
Rodney Dickman is where I got mine. They were here in 2 days! Talk about excellent service. Nothing but good stuff from Rodney, from sales, service, and shipping. This is the third time that I ordered from him, and shipping and delivery is consitently two days to my location.
Thanks to everyone on the advice

whats the hood ornament look like? Is it stock or custom?
If stock, the emblem on the front fascia just bolts on from underneath. I think they may have double sided tape on them too... not sure. They can be had from Fiero Store, I do not know if Rodney has them too.
If you cannot bolt it on, you can always epoxy it on. Be sure to have it ligned up right, and not to use too much so it squeezes out all over. Maybe I can help with a little clearer description of what you have.

I made it out of plastic. It helped that I built model cars when I was younger and having a creative mind. When I'm done I'll put a pic on my site. All I have left is to put some clear coat, epoxy resin and some more clear. But the epoxy resin takes 3-4 days to dry alone.

If you've put a lot of work into it (I assume you have! sounds tough to me!) you may want to attach it with something not as permanent as an epoxy glue. I guess it really depends on how its made. Sounds neat! Some pics would be great!
